The Ateleth class was a tier 6 Xindi-Primate dreadnought cruiser in service since at least the 22nd century. In the 2150s, ships of this class served as warships. By the early 25th century, Ateleth-class starships had been upgraded to serve as carriers and were much larger than their older cousing. History

In 2154, an Ateleth-class starship served as command cruiser for the Primate delegates of the Xindi Council. Degra had his ship dock with the warship after meeting the United Earth Starfleet NX-class starship Enterprise NX-01. (ENT episode: "E²")

When remainder of the Xindi Council decided to end their isolationist stance within the Federation in early 2410, Primate dreadnought cruisers were shared not only with Federation Starfleet but also with the Klingon Defense Force and the Romulan Republican Force through Lobi Crystal Consortium intermediaries. In the 2150s, Ateleth-class starships were considered warships. They were no match for the Olaen-class warships of the Xindi-Insectoids. (ST reference: The Official Starships Collection #24)

25th century

In early 2410, the entirety of the Xindi Council made their ships available to Starfleet, the Klingon Defense Force and the Romulan Republican Force. Ateleth-class carriers were once again capable of opening subspace vortices but could not bridge light-years of distance. Ships of the class saw action in the Iconian War.
